Short Biography
I was born in Huelva (Spain) in 1981. I began my university studies in Huelva where I received a bachelor of science in Department of Electronic, Computer Science and Automatic Engineering. I did my Bachelor thesis at the Montpellier University (France) with an ERASMUS grant in "Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle" department. Later, I went to Sevilla (spain) where I received master thesis in computer science at the university of Sevilla. I did my master thesis with Robotics, Vision and Control Group. Along my degree I have participated in research projects and teaching activities, always related to AI and robotics systems. After finishing my degree I came to Barcelona to work as a software engineer at mystrands. After more than one year, I began to work for the IIIA-CSIC as a contract engineer where I took up again the research work. At the same time, I did a Master's degree on Advanced Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence at the "Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona"Since September 2007, I'm a Ph.D student at IIIA-CSIC with a pre-doctoral grant from the Ministry of Education of Spain (FPI grant) working on self-organizing systems.
